It seems that the wireless driver wants to be the last to be installed. I had the same ar55004g thing and could not for the life of me figure out what was going on. You are logged in as.

Thanks for looking and hope this helps someone else. That chipset might have be considered obsolete at some point, and qr5004g was no need to add WPA2 functionality.
